Opening Up the Solar Plexus

Do you ever feel secure or have a hard time putting boundaries up in your life? Do you feel that you are always out to please everyone, and you always want people to accept you?

Maybe you are opposite of that, and you want to be in control of everyone you meet. You manipulate people to get your way, or you feel that you need to control people so that you can have a purpose.

Chakra

The chakra is a Sanskrit word that means energy wheel. This is a Hindu idea that tells that there are energy centers in your body. There are seven main ones, and they represent different parts of your body where the body and the spirit come together. Each of the chakras rotate and each one has a color associated with it.

There are different emotional and physical things that each of the chakras take care of and when they are healthy, they can help you to feel happy and to feel at peace in your life. When the chakras are blocked, it can cause you to have emotional or physical problems.

The chakras are part of who you are, and they are there to help you to heal and to be strong in your mind, body, and soul.

The solar plexus also called the Manipura is part of the third chakra. This is the area that is in the belly and by the navel. The solar plexus is a place for energy and where you will find change. This is where your self-esteem comes from.
